I'm thankful for family time.
With the kids grown and all of us so busy these days Family Friday or Pasta Sunday is a gift. For me, taking up space together to talk over a good meal, play games or just sit quietly fills my heart with Joy.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving as both kids will be here as well as our niece.... I super love and am so thankful for family time!
Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is best celebrated with family and friends. We've lost many of my Humans' family and friends over the last two years. Thanksgiving is also a time to give thanks for having shared life with those departed as well as relish the moments spent with those still with us.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Good Morning Hawkeye, thanks for swing back by. I'm sorry to hear about your friends and family members. You listed one of the reason I love Thanksgiving so much. Time with family and friends.... nothing better.
DeleteFamily time is awesome, no matter what time of the year. This time of the year just feels more cozy with everyone around. Loving all those slippers! :)
ReplyDeletesuch a cute photo. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love this shot and I understand the missing my kids thing:) Take care.Your Thanksgiving is going to be great. B
ReplyDeleteFamily time is so important!
ReplyDeleteWe are having Thanksgiving on the day BEFORE Thanksgiving so Wonderful Daughter Libby can get back to her waitressing job in Texas on the real Turkey Day (heaven help us if a Texan should miss a football game in a restaurant, apparently.) We think we will have a record turnout since all the kids' friends can come over. Now, if I can just figure out how to knit in a week so everyone could wear the COOLEST SOCKS IN THE WORLD.
ReplyDeleteFamily, both biological and chosen, both human and non-human, is the best! The socks, however, are a close second :-)
Yay sounds like you will have a house full of FUN, whoohooo. Enjoy Joan and thank you for your always awesome comments, they make me smile BIG
DeleteLoving those cozy, snuggly slippers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Hesper! Hope life is good on the prairie :)
