Our weekend in photos... Phew was it a busy one!

This weekend there was time spent in town at the Hot Rod Run.

Aren't these cars amazing!  I couldn't help but do a few composite shots for the event.
This weekend there was rain and a lot of it.
There was also time spent with Chancie and
Monkey at the barn.
This weekend there was time spent shooting local artists and the Music Man's band. This is Ms. L. doesn't she look like rock and roll...

We also spent time with our best buddies so there was good food, good wine and lots of laughter. The rain is gone and the sun is shining again. We sprang forward and once I get used to the time change I'll love it...I do prefer the longer days.

How was your weekend?

It was fun. YEAH I'm so happy to hear you were able to spend some time outside with your hands in the dirt. So so good. We have a major warm up coming this week so I am hoping to transplant some of my seedlings outside.

      Have a great week

    1. Hi Jen, I tried to check out my page and how to enable email but I could not find it (operator error, more than likely). So, my husband and I lived in the Twin Pines area, just south of Banning on Hwy 243 - between Loma Linda and Palm Springs, pretty much. I was born in Loma Linda and raised there - Inland Empire = my old stomping grounds.

After the Esperanza fire in Oct. of 2006 we left. I miss a lot of things about "home" but my roots are deep now, here in NC, and I don't regret moving - EVER. Just laid to rest my pony of 31 years - she was 38 years old. December 27, 2012 was her last day here on earth. I miss her - and Chancie reminded me of her. Bless him!

    2. Hi Sheila
I am so glad you saw my comment. Although we didn't live in wine country yet I remember that fire. It was all over the news and so devastating I can see why you moved on. I often think about moving a bit further out but can't imagine being evacuated with animals...that would throw me over the edge in a freak out situation i'm sure.
I am sorry to hear you lost your buddy recently. 38 is awesome and I love hearing you had 31 years together. That is really wonderful. I rescued Chance just over a year ago and of course blogged about it :) you can check out the transformation he has made it, its incredible! I hope we have many years together...
As far as comments, when you changed over to google + it probably turned them off. If you go into your blogger profile under "show email to public" or something like that, click the box and it will allow people to email you of a post.
      Have a great weekend!
      Jen
