Friends...

"A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be." Douglas Pagels
He goes by many names and I can be caught singing them to him too I know silly but I SO love this dog of mine. I am a horrible singer, no musical talent here what so ever, but I don't think he minds. My family does but they love me so it's all good.

He is still on house arrest and resting. Although he is able to walk around the vineyard a little bit I've limited his activity significantly. He is my shadow and so very sweet. I think dogs make better people. It's hard to see him grow older. He is awesome and I am so thankful for him.

Here's hoping we'll start seeing am improvement over the next week as the anti inflammatory medicine kicks in so he can get back out and run around like I know he wants to.

    1. Thanks Hesper I'm trying friend. It's just hard getting old but I'm hopeful with a few more days of the medicine the doctor gave me I'll be much better.

  3. Good Morning Jen....I love this picture of you and Jack. You can "see" and "feel" the love you have for him in your arms around him. We do love our fur babies so much. They are the babies that never grow up and always need our care. They show how much they love us for loving them and are always there for us in our good and bad days. It is very hard watching our animal babies grow older and see the changes that appear as they grow old. My fur baby cat Sugar will be 16 years old in a few months. Time sure does fly by. I remember the day Amanda brought her home in her coat pocket begging me to keep her. That little gray bundle of fur stole my heart. It is hard to realize that she won't be with me too much longer and this breaks my heart. I try to find comfort that I gave her a wonderful life and she has been a princess in our home. She is both "Sugar" and "Spice" as cats can be, but I love her even when she is a "stinky". I do hope your Jack is better soon and can have fun enjoying running and playing again outside. He is lucky to have a "mom" like you.... Love, Cindy oxox

  5. I hope gets better soon! I know it has to be hard to see him like this. I have so many names for all my animals! Somehow they always end up with multiple nicknames (and I sing to them all as well - and I can't sing!).

    1. Haha I'm happy I'm not the only one that serenades the animals with a stellar vocal ability. BTW I think they like it :)

      Have a great day Tammy!
