So far ~
The music man received word he has a huge opportunity to move upward in his job. This is super exciting for us and brings many possibilities, all of which are so very good.
My knitting needles are working steady every night and my blanket is growing in size.
Both my tomato and zucchini seeds are sprouting and I am starting to harden off some of my cucumbers, looking to transplant some next week.
My hot peppers are now dried and ready to for grinding.
I have been saving my egg shells for a couple weeks as well. They are drying out nicely and will be crushed and ready for planting with my tomato transplants when they're ready.
Life is SO good and I am incredibly thankful.
Have you seen this video yet?
It's all over u tube and fb and is hilarious!
Happy hump day from hood to yours I hope you have a great day!
Jen

ReplyDeleteThanks buddy!
DeleteWow, seeds sprouting already. I'm not there yet - although we did get the garden area tilled last weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
Deleteyes in my house though lol. Where i live i can garden all year long. I grow my greens in the winter and spring as summer is HOT here so peppers, tomato and zuc's then. Hopefully you'll be able to sow some seeds soon too :)
Sounds like a great week! Congrats to the music man on the possible promotion. So happy for you guys!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow. I am cracking up over that goat video! That is the funniest thing ever!
I know isn't it funny, loved it. I can't wait to ad sheep and goats to our family :)
DeleteIt is so nice to meet you.. thanks for the visit! Awwww.. I ♥ your brown dog! Always have my pack w/ me too ;) Congrats to your Music Man. I love the "goats" videos.. I would play it again but hubby is asleep in next room.. lol. Every time I watch it I get the giggles again.. I'm so easily amused! hehe. Anyway, I simply must follow along on your journey. It sounds awesome. Also, thanks for reminding me about the eggshells tip. I always mean to try that, but end up forgetting at "tomato time!" -Tammy

Thanks for stopping by the blog, and I dream of having plentiful zucchini! I'm experimenting this year with winter squash that can be eaten green. Supposedly the vine borers don't care for winter squash. We'll see!
ReplyDeleteHi Candace
DeleteI would love to hear how it goes, maybe a post in your future? I still check in sometimes....
Take care buddy

I have watched both the Taylor Swift AND Whitney Houston versions of goat yelling many times, because, well, they are SOOOO funny! My seeds are still in the packages and we've got tons of snow on the ground. Spring is not here quite yet, but we're a patient lot!
ReplyDeleteHi Joan
DeleteOh my gosh I didn't know there was a Whitney one too... I have seen the Taylor one and they are both so Hilarious.
I'm lucky in that where we live I can garden year around, we don't get snow except for once in a long while. I am working on growing my patience though :)
Have a great weekend!
