Two Years Ago Today

I rescued Chancie.
There's so much I could say but if you've followed this blog for anytime then you already know how much I love this horse.
How saving him was really such an incredible gift of love and Joy.
Proof that love, patience and respect earns trust.
And how much he fills my days and how much fun we have.
So i'll just share photos from the last year.
Super excited to have him home this year and adding Luna to our family was and is awesome. He now has his human and horse herd.
You can read about his rescue and first year here.

Linking up with Madge today over at

  4. Awww, I love this post! The photos are so great. Congrats on the two year anniversary. He is so lucky to have you, and you to have him :) And I love how you said "love, patience and respect earns trust." I learned that firsthand when we rescued our farm dog, Duchess. There is something so special about rescuing an animal and being part of their growth and see them flourish with love :)

  8. I think you've known each other for a lot longer than two years. You can see it in both your eyes. I believe souls meet over and over again. He was waiting for you :-) Congratulations for being the best human in the world to a wonderful, wonderful horse. That's quite an honor.
