back to the beach we went

We took off for a couple days back down to the beach to soak in the last days of this season.

It was really wonderful to be away from my work desk and enjoying my family and fresh air.

I even got some knitting time in! The first cardi is almost done. I hope to be back in a few days to share pics.

    Looks like you had a wonderful time.....can you feel the Fall coming? I hope to get to the ocean and a couple of days off soon - as soon as these dogs go back to Cal City!!! I'm currently living in a dog pound. I do hope we have some more warm weather ahead with the Santa Ana's in October so I can do a little beach/sunning knitting myself. Keep a weekend open in October for the mountains....

    He has an interest in the computer now, this and the t.v. remote, I don't think so....time for Lap Dog to get her own laptop. Problem is he just pushes buttons without any clue as to the effect. When he moves into taking over my kitchen, I'm out of here.
